Welcome to our small corner of FrancePerched on top of a hill overlooking the surrounding valley and forests of Meur and Avagour, Quatorze is a traditional detached south facing Breton stone longere which we have lovingly converted into quality holiday accommodation. Pen Lehart is a tiny hamlet in Côtes d’Armor, approximately 10 miles from Guingamp, Quintin and Chatelaudren. Whilst we have a handful of friendly neighbours, none of them are within 'peeking' distance affording our guests complete privacy. Also in the Hamlet is the very pretty 16th century Chapel Tugdual, built by the Lords of Senven Lehart and home to the annual Pardon and Fete in July. At the West door there is a Gaulish Stele that until the 20th Century childless women would visit and touch in order to conceive.
Quatorze in Pen Lehart is a tranquil spot, where people come to relax and enjoy lifes more simple pleasures but don't just take our word for it, see what some of our guests have to say here. |
The CottageA traditional stone longere and barn, it has been transformed into a beautiful and characterful 4 bedroom cottage with 2 reception rooms and is available all year. The fourth bedroom is optional, so if you dont require it, you don't pay for the extra room. The Master bedroom suite has its own sitting area, dressing area, shower room and large french doors at the foot of the bed which lead out onto a private balcony...........such Bliss.
The ApartmentThis part of the house can be self-contained as a ground floor one bedroom apartment if preferred. Beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished it has a different feel to the rest of Quatorze with its painted board walls and triple aspect windows. The reception room has a wet bar area and large french doors leading out onto an elevated deck .... perfect for BBQ's and al fresco dining. The fourth bedroom and third bathroom are off the hallway and can be rented if required.
